Paystack Checkout now supports Bank Direct Debit in Nigeria

Nigerian businesses can now collect recurring payments directly from customer bank accounts on Paystack Checkout, no card required. Once a customer authorizes a mandate, you can charge them at any cadence using the Charge Authorization API.

Direct Debit is available to all merchants with international payments enabled. Reach out to support if you'd like help rolling it out to your customers.

Transfers API: higher throughput for bulk payouts

We've raised the per-minute rate limit on the Transfers API by 3x for verified businesses, making it easier to run large disbursement jobs without backing off.

Paystack Terminal firmware 3.2.0 is rolling out

Firmware 3.2.0 is now reaching Terminal devices in Nigeria and South Africa. This release improves Bluetooth reliability on older handsets and adds a receipt re-print shortcut from the transaction list.

Checkout

USSD payments now available for every major Ghanaian bank

Paystack Checkout now supports USSD payments from all major banks in Ghana, giving customers without cards a reliable way to pay on your storefront or Payment Pages.

USSD is turned on by default for new integrations. Existing merchants can enable it from the Preferences section of the Dashboard. Read the integration guide.

Merchants in Egypt can now create and send branded invoices directly from the Paystack Dashboard, with automatic reminders until the invoice is paid.

Reporting: schedule weekly exports to your inbox

We're excited to announce that Paystack merchants in Kenya can now send single and bulk transfers to any Kenyan bank or M-PESA account, including customer wallets, Paybills, and Tills.
